About Karimia Institute

For over three decades, Karimia Institute has been a home for worship, learning and community service in Nottingham — helping people rediscover purpose and strengthen their faith.

Karimia Institute began as a small community effort to provide authentic Islamic education and a welcoming place of worship in Nottingham. What started as a handful of classes held by dedicated volunteers has grown into a full institute offering daily prayers, Qur'an and Arabic classes, youth and sisters' programmes, counselling, and community care — all rooted in the same founding belief: that everyone deserves access to authentic knowledge, practical guidance, and a community that grows together in faith. Today, Karimia Institute serves thousands of students and community members, led by qualified scholars and teachers, and remains committed to being a welcoming space for worship, learning and community service — for people of every age and background.
